I had a great few days working on Josie’s advanced mosaic workshop. She is a lovely lady who makes the most amazing works of art, and loves to pass on her skills. I was booked on the 3 day course, but it was extended by a day – I’m pretty slow – with no problems. Tessa gave me a great grouting demonstration as well. The workshop is large, with all the ceramics and tools you need, and the garden is beautiful, where you can sit outside and have lunch. So I came home delighted with my “geometric giraffe”, and a grouting kit, so I can put the finishing touches to it at home. I would recommend Josie’s workshops to anyone.

This time Josie has created a "Mona Lisa effect" with her latest ceramic pet work for us, Bryn: his eyes follow you round the room no matter where you sit. It's bad enough with the real Bryn staring at you demanding food or a walk but to have no way of escaping his ceramic scare is something else. Another triumph by Josie.!

A very enjoyable and messy two hours. Tessa took us through the process and I managed to achieve all that is necessary. I was a tad hesitant about how much grout to apply but soon learned that you apply a lot and then wipe it off. Really pleased with the end result.

I didn’t know what to expect. Lots of questions…Would the course be too difficult? Could I achieve something I would be pleased with? Well the day was much much more than I thought it would be. Lots of fun, enjoyable and yes I made a mosaic I am proud of. A great learning day and look forward to attending another.

Spent 2 wonderful days with Josie, learning how to mosaic from a pro. I wanted to learn after seeing Josie’s work online. Her pieces are so beautiful, photos absolutely do not do them justice! The detail is amazing, and after having a go myself - my gosh the time and love that goes into each one is huge. I would highly recommend the 2 day course. In fact I’m going to do another day in the autumn!

Absolutely lovely course. Very comprehensive, in depth and creative. Superb hosting, felt entirely welcome and comfortable the entire time. Great pricing for what you get to do! Also very good communication the entire time from making the template to the actual crafting. All round amazing, fully recommend!

Thank you Josie for a lovely day creating and learning. My daughter and i really enjoyed it and learnt a lot. Your workshop is like a tresure trove and we appreciated how you let us explore all areas to find the right colours and textures. L'accompagnement et les conseils sont géniaux.Le goûter offert était de la partie avec des petites spécialités délicieuses d Angleterre. C'était un moment agréable de créativité et de détente, on repart avec une belle pièce et beaucoup de fierté. Merci Josie.

Just finished the advanced mosaic course with Josie. It was a fantastic 2 days, I learnt such a lot from Josie about 3D mosaics she encouraged creativity, provided a huge range of materials to work with and made it fun to do. The course is well organised in a great workshop area with plenty of space and light for me and my friend to work in. The course is value for money and will definitely return next year.

Just finished the 2 day advanced course and thrilled to pieces. Finished a 3D squirrel and a dragonfly which from the guidance, patience, encouragement and expertise from Josie, they have turned out fantastic and I now have the confidence to carry on. Her workshop is a crafters dream, she has everything and more that you need for the course, you are made to feel very welcome from the start and I have already booked in for my next trip to France, can’t wait. Would highly recommend this to anyone who has some experience already. Thank you Jodie x

Taken us ages to write this Review as we were so astonished at the" Oscar" Josie created for us. We knew of her quirky metal work from the early days of her market stall at Eymoutiers Saturday Marche six or seven years ago...then we came across her "Exposition" at Treignac's La Monarde this October (2024). We were amazed by the imagination and skill Josie was using in her ceramic creations (apparently untrained) and Paul was so dumbstruck by those on display he secretly commissioned "Oscar" as my Xmas present (to later include all the pieces of my treasured Crown Derby china vase he'd smashed 15 years ago, while "dusting" the mantelpiece, but had kept the pieces hoping to glue them together somehow.) And so the Oscar goes to "Oscar". Liz and Paul Oscar writes: “After I’d finished the screenplay for “Cats on a Hot Ceramic Roof” I forgot all about it so the Oscar tonight has come as a complete surprise to me (even though The Academy had tipped me for the International Cat’s Whiskers Award). I’d like to thank………..” starts crying crocodile tears. Reuters.

I purvhased my Fox Clock earlier this year. My first purchase from La Petite Maison Creations. Its fab and has pride of place in my hall. Such a beautiful piece!

These delightful creatures are made really beautifully. I gave 2 as Christmas gifts and came back for this joyful little guy as a spring birthday gift. Every time I look for a special present for friends (or myself for that matter) I take a look at Josies incredible collection of cutlery art. I possess several pieces of her art and have to find excuses to get more. This time I bought a teaspoon flower for a friend. I'm sure she'll love it. As do I. A huge thank you to Josie for her wonderful mosaic work ! She made a large size picture of my wonderful old lady cocker spaniel. She has really caught the chaos mixed with intelligence of the dog. My husband, who I bought it for is so delighted with it. Josie was so kind and really asked the right questions to understand the doggie it was a great and very rewarding experience. I now have a long list of other pets I am going to be getting her to make fabulous pictures of.

Une très belle création unique que l'on trouve nulle part ailleurs ! J'adore son rouge profond,ses petites antennes et ses incrustations de billes qui donnent un joli relief. Josie fait un très beau travail de qualité,original,vous ne ne pouvez que craquer !

I bought these as wedding presents for a brother and sister.....they were so thrilled with them! And lovely that they each have an artwork that reflects their interests. I got so fond of them that it was hard to part with them! Glorious, vibrant colours...all so beautifully put together.......a real joy to give such beautiful creations to people.

I was looking for something special to mark our 25th wedding anniversary, tradition dictates something silver but we are not bound by tradition and the idea that swans pair for life planted a seed, when I saw the pink fruit swan I knew that it was the one, beautifully crafted by our favourite artist ,the very talented Josie, it seemed perfect, my good lady is delighted with it and what it represents--togetherness. My wife was called a "little butterfly" by her best friend and I had previously aquired one from Josie, mounted together butterfly above Swan they look superb. I am amazed at her work, foxes to squirrels. birds in all mediums her talent is prodigous and so affordable for beautiful bespoke pieces.
