This two day advanced mosaic course experience is an action packed 2 days of exploring recycled ceramics and glass. Ideal for anyone who already has mosaic experience. You will get the opportunity to create with both traditional glass and recycled materials, such as vintage ceramics in a 3D sculpture style. Adaptable for different ages and abilities.
We welcome groups of 2 to 6 people and courses are in English and also French.
Course starts on both days at 9h30 and runs until 16h30, with a 40 minute lunch break from 12h30.
We will provide refreshments and sweet treats throughout the day but lunch is provided by you and can be stored in the refrigerator located in our seating area until 12h30.
All materials, tools and a medium sized wooden animal template will be provided for you on the day, with the option to purchase another smaller template if you finish your first template early on the second day.
We also include special wood cutting / shaping and grouting demonstrations for you and will let you have a go at grouting your artwork.
We will also provide you with a bag of grout and instructions on how to continue grouting your artwork at home.

Important information about booking:
Please make your purchase for the required number of people wanting to attend. Courses run with a minimum of two attendees, however single person bookings will be added to next suitable course. You will be contacted after your purchase to discuss suitable dates for the course. Grouting in full is not included due to time restrictions and necessary drying time for the adhesive. A grouting demonstration and a grouting kit with instructions will be issued to you for you to grout your artwork at home.

Just finished the 2 day advanced course and thrilled to pieces. Finished a 3D squirrel and a dragonfly which from the guidance, patience, encouragement and expertise from Josie, they have turned out fantastic and I now have the confidence to carry on. Her workshop is a crafters dream, she has everything and more that you need for the course, you are made to feel very welcome from the start and I have already booked in for my next trip to France, can’t wait. Just finished the advanced mosaic course with Josie. It was a fantastic 2 days, I learnt such a lot from Josie about 3D mosaics she encouraged creativity, provided a huge range of materials to work with and made it fun to do. The course is well organised in a great workshop area with plenty of space and light for me and my friend to work in. The course is value for money and will definitely return next year.
