This three day mosaic course experience is an action packed 3 days of exploring recycled ceramics and glass. Ideal for anyone wanting a more comprehensive eductaion in mosaics. You will get the opportunity to create with both traditional glass and recycled materials, such as vintage ceramics in a 3D sculpture style. Grouting training in full is also included. Adaptable for different ages and abilities.
We welcome groups of 2 to 6 people and courses are in English and also French.
Course starts on all three days at 9h30 and runs until 16h30, with a 40 minute lunch break from 12h30.
We will provide refreshments and sweet treats throughout the day but lunch is provided by you and can be stored in the refrigerator located in our seating area until 12h30.
All materials, tools and a medium-large sized wooden animal template will be provided for you on the first day, with the option to purchase another smaller template if you finish your first template early on the second day. The third day will include a grouting demonstration and practical grouting experience.
We also include a special wood cutting / shaping demonstration and will let you have a go at grouting your completed artwork.
We will also provide you with a bag of grout and instructions on how to continue grouting your artwork (if still necessary) at home.

Please make your purchase for the required number of people wanting to attend. Courses run with a minimum of two attendees, however single person bookings will be added to next suitable course. You will be contacted after your purchase to discuss suitable dates for the course. Grouting in full is included on this longer course and a grouting demonstration and a grouting kit with instructions (if needed) will be issued to you for you to continue to grout your artwork if necessary at home.

I had a great few days working on Josie’s advanced mosaic workshop. She is a lovely lady who makes the most amazing works of art, and loves to pass on her skills. I was booked on the 3 day course, but it was extended by a day – I’m pretty slow – with no problems. Tessa gave me a great grouting demonstration as well.
The workshop is large, with all the ceramics and tools you need, and the garden is beautiful, where you can sit outside and have lunch.
So I came home delighted with my “geometric giraffe”, and a grouting kit, so I can put the finishing touches to it at home. I would recommend Josie’s workshops to anyone.
