Our fabulous hand-cut recycled ceramic, Large Red Squirrel is a whimsical delight in autumnal oranges, reds and golds, with vintage autumnal leaf patterned ceramics and leafy ceramic acorn embellishments.
This shy beauty hides a secret message through its rose shaped mirror heart, which aims to highlight the fragile balance that these animals have to endure to survive in their rapidly decreasing wild places. This subtle message reminds us that nature is fragile and that we must do everything in our power to conserve these beautiful wild creatures in their wild homes.
All of our mosaic pique-assiette art is inspired by nature and hand-crafted in our mosaic workshop in the picturesque, wildlife filled forested region of Eymoutiers, Haute-Vienne, France. We source all of our recycled ceramics from local dechetteries and Secure Populaire charity shops in France. We also greatly appreciate ceramic donations. We aim to give these commonly discarded items a new life as new (recycled) much loved eye-catching wildlife murals for the home.
All mosaic artworks are signed & dated.

There may be a rare occasion where an item sells on the website and that same item sells on our market stall on the same day. Unfortunately the market stall sale will take precedence due to the situation of the client buying and taking the artwork with them after the sale.
